| The testing is carried out under the supervision of Dr R Crapo, who is one of the leading world authorities responsible for the ATS standards for
spirometry performance.
Many manufacturers of spirometers claim that their devices meet the ATS standards, whereas this may be simply a self-declaration that the performance of
their devices follow the ATS guidelines.

MIR has received confirmation letters from Dr R Crapo of the LDS Hospital stating that MIR diagnostic spirometers have passed this stringent testing procedure. |
