MIR has gained extensive experience in the management of Clinical Trials, from the acquisition to the processing of test data. Top pharmaceutical companies have entrusted MIR with the management of spirometry and oximetry data for their Clinical Trials.

This innovative system developed by MIR enables investigators to transfer data via internet securely to a central database. Data elaboration and updating is an ongoing process from the very first test all the way through to the end of the study, thereby reducing the risk of data loss while also allowing for changes and refinements of the therapy during the clinical trial.

The software installed on the investigator's PC enables the data to be sent from the instrument (spirometer-oximeter) via internet to the Web service. The Web service then transfers the received data to a module which interprets the data and writes it into the database (for instance: Oracle Clinic Database).

The system can of course be tailored to specific requirements.
