Many spirometer manufacturers
claim that their devices meet ATS standards, however this does not
necessarily mean that they conform to ATS accuracy and reproducibility
standards.
One way to demostrate conformity to ATS Standards is with a confirmation
letter from a reputable testing facility attesting to having met
ATS recommendations for accuracy and precision for a specific type
of spirometer. MIR is proud to declare that our spirometers have
passed this stringent testing procedure. Documentation can be supplied
upon request.
Long term calibration accuracy and readings reliability are maintained
with the use of our Pulmonary Waveform Generator which is an integral
part of our production and quality check.

accuracy standards. |
